British Airways is a good way to fly and got me from Los Angeles to Moscow without any dramas. We flew over the Rocky Mountains.
I had 3 hours in London which gave me time to write and post some postcards. As we approached both London and Moscow we were required to circle and I enjoyed a wonderful view of both cities and the countryside. 
In Moscow my luggage was waiting for me as was Yury Bondarenko, one of our MPH students. It was good to see a familiar face!
